Teenager parental control
What does your teen talk to online? Do you know what these mean:
lol = Laugh Out Loud
brb = Be Right Back
ctn = Can't Talk Now
p911 = Parents are coming
pos = Parents Over Shoulder
You can monitor and restrict who your teen messages with on-line, but what about their phone? Who is your teen talking too? Is your daughter talking to the man she met on the Internet and telling him where she lives? Is she arranging to sneak out at night to meet him while you're asleep?
Frank and his wife are worried about their teenage daughter Jessica. She's been spending a lot of time on the phone and the computer lately, and making calls late into the night. Frank goes online, buys a Phone-007. Frank has no computer experience, but the installation is very easy requiring only a power and an Internet connection and there is no configuration involved.
Jessica loves her new phone in her bed room and uses it all the time. Frank occasionally logs into the Mypurplegoods.com to listen to the phone calls made by Jessica – he can do this from any computer in the world, but he usually does it from his work computer even though its behind a corporate firewall he can still access all of Phone-007's features. One day Frank spot a conversation that took place late on a school night and lasted over an hour. Listening to this call, Frank and Sarah realize that their 15 year old daughter, Jessica, met a man in his 30's online and has been talking with him on the phone. They are shocked to hear that some of the calls are of a highly inappropriate sexual nature and that they were planning to meet after she snuck out of her bedroom window at night.
Frank and Sarah realize that their vigilant parenting potentially saved their daughter's life. As a responsible parent, can you afford not to have Phone-007 in your house?
